Milan Cinque Giornate - Day 5

The artist, Giuseppe Grandi used Tacita Chiodini as his model for the statue representing the fifth day. She’s the statue holding the trumpet of victory and reaching around towards the statue for the fourth day.

The eagle is part of the fourth day depiction, said to represent victory and great thought involved in the undertaking of the battle.
