Photos over Sofa
Train Station Photo

For a while now I’ve been wanting some artwork for the wall behind the sofa in my living room. I wanted something large that would be striking to anyone upon entering, that would give a certain feeling to the space. Not being able to find an oil paining that I both liked and could afford, I decided to print a few of my photographs and have them framed and use them instead.

Although I may change out the photos every few months, I like the choices I made. They don’t complete the room — in fact, they seem to make it more obviously that the living room neds more furniture and other elements — but I think they’re a good start. In the process, I’ve learned some things about printing such enlarged photographs. It has somehow helped to cultivate my understanding of photography a bit.
