New Photography Site§

I’ve accumulated many photographs on this site — about 6,500 at this point, in addition to the 48,000 on my home computer. These are primarily travel related photographs. I had also started including photographs irrespective of whether they were travel related. I had also started developing web pages and articles related to photography itself. However, I felt that all of this was beginning to make the site confusing. Although i might have multiple and unrelated interests, a web site organized in such a way is confusing or at least cluttered. So, I’ve created a new web site related to my photography interest. The new site is called FotoCapito.

On this site I will include many photographs, as well as articles on photography. My travel photographs will remain here, though, as they related to my personal life and activities. This photos on the new site will include articles on how to take photographs and advice on photography equipment. The idea of the name, which translates to photos understood and photography understood in Italian, is that the site will have articles about understanding photographs from an artistic sense to help readers to appreciate photos and to help them take better photographs, and the site will have articles to help readers better understand photography.
