Over a year ago they began repairing the grounds inside the castle in Milan. Before it was just dusty gravel, probably dolomite. This past week I took a walk through the castle and discovered that the project had been completed and rather nicely. The walk-ways have been paved with flat rock (maybe granite) with cobblestone edges, flanked by brick. There now are lawns and some large stone benches—actually the benches were there before, but now they’re in better locations. Click on the photo to see an enlarged copy of it.
