The cathedral in Milan, Italy is known as the Duomo. It’s more official title is the Metropolitan Cathedral-Basilica of the Nativity of Saint Mary. It’s dedicated to the Nativity of Mary — you can see a gilded statue of her pregnant on the top — and is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan.

Inside the Duomo are about 3500 works of art, from stained glass windows to statues to massive oil paintings. In front of the Duomo is a large square with a statue of King Vittorio Emanuelle II of Italy.
