Ca’ Grande

The Ca’Grande (i.e., Casa Grande, meaning big house) used to a large hospital, formed from the merging of several small hospitals of the time. It was known as the Ospedale Maggiore in Milan. It’s next to the Basilica of San Nazaro in Brolo.

These Renaissance buildings is now occupied by Università degli Studi di Milano (i.e., the University of Milan).
