Milan Aquarium§

location: milan, italy; created: date

The Civic Aquarium of Milan is the third oldest aquarium in Europe. It was built in 1906 as part of the Milan International, the world’s fair of that year. It’s the only building remaining from the event.

The main aquariums of the facility are set along a spiral walkway. In these tanks are a collection of fish from every level of Italy: starting at the bottom from the deepest of the waters off the coasts of Italy, to the fish found in mountain streams and lakes at the highest level.

These are a few photographs I took at the Aquarium in Milan, Italy. Incidentally, during the summer, this building is an excellent place to cool down. It has the best air conditioning system in the city.
